Dr Camelia Quek is a Senior Research Fellow at the Melanoma Institute Australia and University of Sydney. Dr Quek specialises in clinical computational biology and has wide experience in clinical multi-omics analytics and data integration. Dr Quek’s research program focuses on understanding how heterogeneity within tumour and immune microenvironment shapes melanoma progression and treatment response. Her work on gene expression signatures and spatial immunogenomics profiles associated with response to immunotherapy has paved the way for personalised medicine for melanoma patients. Passionate about translating research findings into clinical applications, Dr Quek actively collaborates with clinicians and industry partners to advance new knowledge in the design of biomarker panels and therapeutic targets.
